LOTT owns and operates state-of-the-art wastewater and reclaimed water facilities in the south Puget Sound region of Washington State. Our facilities include the Budd Inlet Treatment Plant, Budd Inlet Reclaimed Water Plant, Martin Way Reclaimed Water Plant, three pump stations, and miles of pipelines.
We offer a variety of positions ranging from entry level to highly skilled professionals. LOTT jobs involve a broad range of skills and experience, including wastewater treatment, maintenance, control systems, regulatory permitting, engineering, planning, construction, finance, and public communication. LOTT employees work within four divisions and a variety of work groups:
- Operations and Facilities, which includes Operations, Maintenance, Control Systems, and Environmental Compliance
- Environmental Planning and Communications
Staff members are organized under the four Division Directors who report to the Executive Director. LOTT is governed by a Board of Directors, made up of one elected official from each of the four partner jurisdictions (Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, and Thurston County).
LOTT takes a team-based approach to much of our work. Cross-discipline teams help optimize outcomes by sharing a diversity of perspectives and expertise. Staff work as part of high performing teams, playing an important role to help protect public health and the environment by cleaning and restoring water resources for our communities.
