Receiving hauled waste from commercial haulers and RVs
The Hauled Waste Receiving Station located at LOTT’s Budd Inlet Treatment Plant is available for use by pre-approved commercial septage haulers, mobile food vendors, and other commercial businesses. The site is also open for RV use free of charge.
NOTICE: The Hauled Waste Receiving Station will open to septage waste discharges temporarily from November 1, 2019, until February 14, 2020. However, beginning February 15, 2020, the station will close to commercially-hauled septage waste discharges for the foreseeable future. The closure is necessary to ensure that LOTT can reliably treat wastewater and meet the requirements of our National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. The discharge of highly concentrated waste from septic tanks has compromised LOTT’s ability to consistently meet permit requirements. LOTT will still accept waste from RVs, portable toilets, storm drain cleaning, and STEP tanks that are managed by our partner cities – Lacey, Olympia, and Tumwater.
Commercial haulers and vendors must apply to use the dump station. Once approved, they are issued access cards that allow station use 24 hours a day. Fees for use are charged directly to their accounts. For questions about commercial accounts, send us an email or call (360) 528-5725.
The station is free for RV users Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and closed weekends and holidays.
