Free for RV use

The station is free for RV use. Approved commercial haulers with active LOTT accounts may also access the station. Use of the site is for disposal of wastewater from toilets, showers and/or sinks. No other wastes are accepted. For site emergencies, call (360) 528-5700.

Notice of Changes to Dump Station Schedule – Beginning Friday, April 18, 2025, the RV dump station will be open to the public 8 am to 4 pm Friday – Sunday and on all recognized government holidays only. An alternate schedule will be in effect through December 2028.

The RV Dump Station is located in downtown Olympia, on Franklin Street NE between A and B Avenues. The site is closed at times due to severe winter weather or construction activity. Site Instructions

Entry to the site is through a secured gate.
Access instructions are posted onsite.
Use caution when entering the area.
The site is not staffed.
The secured area accommodates only one user at a time.
Do not follow another vehicle through an open gate.
Gates close automatically after each user exits.
Washdown water available at the site is not potable. May be used for cleaning spills and flushing tanks. Do not use for drinking water purposes or for filling tanks.
Bring hoses for emptying gray and black water tanks.
Please clean any spills with the washdown water provided.

Commercial Use

LOTT accepts waste from specific commercial sources, which include portable toilets, storm drain cleaning, greywater, mobile carpet cleaners, mobile food vendors and STEP tanks that are managed by our partner cities. Commercial haulers and businesses with these types of loads must apply to use the dump station. Once approved, they are issued access cards that allow station use 24 hours a day. This hauled waste station is closed to commercially-hauled septage waste discharges. The closure is necessary to ensure that LOTT can reliably treat wastewater and meet the requirements of our National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. The discharge of highly concentrated waste from septic tanks was compromising LOTT’s ability to meet permit requirements consistently.
